BELL XP-52

The XP-52, Bell Model 16, was designed as a twin boom pusher-type aircraft with dual contra-rotating propellers powered by a single Continental XIV-1430-5 inverted Vee of 1,250 hp. The aircraft was never built, but development of a bigger version continued as the XP-59.
