The Curtiss-Wright X-19 was originally designed as a verticle takeoff and landing (VTOL) passenger transport. Two prototypes were built, but only one ever flew before the program was cancelled. One X-19 was destroyed in a crash; the other (S/N 62-12198A) was transferred to the National Museum of the United States Air Force in 2007.

Transferred from the U.S. Army.
