The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, along with other community organizations, will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Korean War with special events and the renovation of the Korean War exhibit area in the Modern Flight Gallery. The activities listed below are open to Korean War veteran groups as well as individual veterans and their families.

Dinner Under the Wings and Exhibit Opening
Enjoy dinner in the museum's Modern Flight Gallery and see the unveiling of the new Korean War exhibit area. Reception begins at 6 p.m., and the dinner and program begin at 7 p.m. Please view the flyer (pdf) for more information.

Freedom's Call Military Tattoo
Wright-Patterson AFB celebrates freedom during the sixth annual Tattoo, featuring live music, aircraft fly-overs and a fireworks show. Admission is free. Preferred parking and seating will be available to Korean War veterans and their guests. Pre-show activities begin at 4:30 p.m. and the main show begins at 8 p.m.

Korean War Memorial Ceremony

Recognize, honor and remember the service and sacrifice of those who fought in the "Forgotten War" during a 5 p.m. ceremony at the Korean War Memorial at 130 Riverside Dr. in downtown Dayton.
