7/31/2012 - DAYTON, Ohio -- Tickets will be available at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8 for the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra's joint concert in honor of Patriot Day in September.
This free concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Patriot Day is observed annually nationwide in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks in the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.
Tickets may be obtained one of three ways. Requests can be made in person at the museum Monday- Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Those who cannot make it in person may request tickets by calling (937) 255-5924, (937) 255-7207 or (937) 904-9881 or by submitting an online form at www.surveymonkey.com/s/patriotdayconcert.
Those requesting tickets must provide their name, phone number, address and the number of tickets they would like mailed to them. The limit is four tickets per person and they will be mailed by Aug. 31.
The 2012 Patriot Day concert is presented by Booz Allen Hamilton. Federal endorsement not implied.
The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located on Springfield Street, six miles northeast of downtown Dayton. It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day). Admission and parking are free.
