8/20/2012 - HOUSTON -- The Crew Compartment Trainer (CCT-1) was loaded onto NASA's Super Guppy aircraft on Aug. 20, 2012, in preparation for its flight to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. CCT-1 is scheduled to arrive at the museum on Aug. 22, 2012. Click here to watch a time-lapse video of the loading of the CCT-1 onto the Super Guppy.
The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located on Springfield Street, six miles northeast of downtown Dayton. It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day). Admission and parking are free.
