Tickets available Oct. 3 for Veterans Day Concert

9/25/2012 - DAYTON, Ohio -- Update: We have distributed all tickets for the Veterans Day Concert. Overflow seating will be provided in the museum's Carney Auditorium, where there will be a live video feed of the concert shown on the screen. For those with tickets to the Veterans Day Concert, the doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Please visit www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/news&events/concerts.asp for a list of more upcoming concerts.
Tickets will be available at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3 for the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight concert in honor of Veterans Day in November.
This free concert, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, will honor heroes from all eras of American history.
Tickets may be obtained one of three ways. Requests can be made in person at the museum Monday- Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Those who cannot make it in person may request tickets by calling (937) 255-5924 or (937) 255-7207 or by submitting an online form at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/veteransdayconcert.
Those requesting tickets must provide their name, phone number, address and the number of tickets they would like mailed to them. The limit is four tickets per person and they will be mailed by Oct. 26.
The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located on Springfield Street, six miles northeast of downtown Dayton. It is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day). Admission and parking are free.
