The donor, who served from August 2001 until August 2005, was the first female aerial gunner in the U.S. Air Force. She was stationed with the 66th Rescue Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., and also trained at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., with the 512th. Donated by Mrs. Vanessa (Dobos) Scheutzow.
