Space Fest 2014

Join us May 16-17, 2014 for a multitude of exciting space-related activities! The museum and a number of partner organizations will offer hands-on activities for all ages, including special appearances by astronauts, a 5K fun run/walk and 1-mile kids' race, a star-gaze with telescopes, a chance to see the museum's new space shuttle exhibit, model rocket building and launching, and much more. Admission to most activities is FREE!

National Museum of the U.S. Air Force visitors will have the opportunity to meet members of the Cincinnati Reds organization on Jan. 25 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Outfielder Billy Hamilton, minor league outfielder Jesse Winker, Reds Hall of Famer Tom Browning, broadcaster and former pitcher Jeff Brantley, broadcaster Jim Kelch, VP of Baseball Operations Dick Williams and mascot Rosie Red are scheduled to appear at the museum stop. The 80 silver goblets in the ceremony were presented to the Raiders in 1959 by the city of Tucson, Ariz. The Raiders' names are engraved twice, the second upside-down.
