No matter your geographic location, educators and youth leaders are invited to register for the FREE virtual reading program!
The Museum’s Education Division has selected a variety of age-appropriate books for 1st - 5th grade readers to be featured in this year's virtual Read Across America program. With permission from the authors and publishers of these books, a YouTube link to a short video (8 -15 minute) of each book will be provided to all registrants. Each video will include the book reading, with images from the book, and a short tour of a corresponding museum exhibit.

-"Thundermouse" read by author Caroline Jensen
-“What Grandma Did” read by author Erin Miller
-“The Fearless Flights of Hazel Ying Lee” read by Ohio Education Association Assistant Executive Director, Airica Clay
-“Fly, Girl, Fly!: Shaesta Waiz Soars Around the World” read by author Nancy Roe Pimm
-"Nobody Owns the Sky: The Story of Bessie Coleman" read by Ohio Education Association Chief Financial Officer, Kristy Spires
-Additional books may be added, follow us here for updates.
Register now for access to these videos.

Include "Read Across America" in the subject line and add your name, city and state in the body of the email.
At the request of the authors and publishers, access to these videos will be restricted from March 1-31, 2024. All registrants will be granted access starting March 1, 2024.
