FREE 2024 Read Across America program!

The museum is proud to participate in the
National Education Association’s Read Across America program.
The theme for this year’s reading motivation and awareness program is:
Celebrating a Nation of Diverse Readers. 

This year we are excited to offer both in-person and online options, allowing you to participate no matter your geographic location.

And don't forget about the virtual option! See above for details and registration information to participate in Virtual Read Across America right from your classroom on your schedule throughout the month of March.

We are excited to once again offer an in-person option to bring your students to the museum where volunteers will bring six books to life at the museum exhibit corresponding to the theme of each book. 

All books are targeted to 1st – 5th grade readers.

Advanced registration is required and space is limited to the first 24 classes.
