This program is designed for students with a strong desire to work on a team interested in cybersecurity or other STEM disciplines. The team will participate in the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition which includes a series of online competition rounds and teams are given a set of virtual operating systems and tasked with finding and fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Application required for students entering grades 9-12.

The AFA CyberCamp program is designed to excite students new to cybersecurity about STEM career opportunities and teach them important cyber defense skills through hands-on instruction and activities. Through the camp, students will learn how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats, as well as how to harden entire networks running Windows 10 and Ubuntu operating systems. The AFA CyberCamp will culminate in an exciting final team competition that simulates real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals and mimics AFA’s CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. This free two-week course consists of Ground School and training at a flight simulator. Students, ages 14-18, must be able to attend all 6 classes over the two-week period. Registration is required.

This summer, the National Museum of the United States Air Force will offer free beginner-level rocketry camps for students having completed grades 5 or 6.

Each year the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force hosts a "The American Rocketry Challenge" (TARC). What is TARC? It is the world's largest rocket contest and involves having students design, build and launch rockets to meet a specific goal which changes each year. Application required for students entering grades 9-12.
