Don’t miss DINOSAURS IN MOTION!

This free and interactive exhibit will engage visitors of all ages with 14 magnificent, fully interactive, recycled life-size metal dinosaur sculptures inspired by actual fossils.

Get inspired to learn, discover and create as you follow a highly interactive path with the opportunity to touch and move these dinosaurs, weaving science, art and innovation themes for a fun and educational experience.

DINOSAURS IN MOTION is FREE and open daily to visitors from Feb. 17 -May 13 and is open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily.

Step – or dance – into a world of intrigue and mischief as the Air Force Musuem Foundation transforms the museum into a haven for the wicked and whimsical!

This adult-only (ages 21+) event will include live music and dancing, open aircraft, elusive artifacts, costume contest, trivia, and more diabolically delightful activities.

AAF Heavy Bombers and Winning World War II: April 25 at NVMM

AAF Heavy Bombers on a blue background with images of WWII bombersNational Museum of the U.S. Air Force Historian, Dr. Doug Lantry will be one of two featured presenters at a special presentation of Army Air Forces Heavy Bombers and Winning World War II to be hosted by and held at the National Veterans Memorial Museum in Columbus on April 25.

The evening will include a panel discussion, display of original images from the NMUSAF’s Memphis Belle exhibit, and time for audience Q&A.

Plane Talks

Interact with various subject matter experts stationed in the galleries near the aircraft or exhibit that relates to their expertise. Experts include veterans, active duty, former pilots, crew members, engineers, navigators, and more. Plane Talks programs often occur in conjunction with the anniversary of a significant Air Force or military event. 

All Plane Talks occur from 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
