Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star

Lockheed F-80C Shooting Star on display in the Korean War Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The F-80C on display is one of the few remaining Shooting Stars that flew combat missions during the Korean War. Restored and painted as it was in 1950 while assigned to the 8th Fighter-Bomber Group, it was placed on display in 1979.(U.S. Air Force photo by Ken LaRock)
