How does an airplane fly? How is it controlled once it is airborne? Unlock the fundamentals of flight!

  • Aerospace Educator at the National Museum of the United States Air Force
Students will learn about the exciting world of flight! Areas covered include the four forces of flight, how an aircraft achieves lift and how to control that aircraft in flight. There will be many fun demonstrations, and students will leave with several handouts, which will serve as extensions to the material covered in the class!

A follow-up, take-home, hands-on project will be distributed to those in attendance.
