Welcome to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Prepare to have a high-flying time at the world's largest and oldest military aviation museum! Whether you are an educator looking for a STEM connection or a youth group leader or family looking for fun aerospace activities, we have a variety of programs to meet your needs. Because we want your visit to be the best it can be, we encourage you to review all the materials in this section carefully before your visit to familiarize yourself and your group or family with what the museum has to offer.   • FEBRUARY 2020

    Saturday, Feb. 29

    Micro Drone Race, Race starts at 11:00 a.m.

    See fast flying micro machines, in this rapid growing sport, as drone pilots fly around obstacles and aircraft along their racecourse through the galleries. In addition to seeing the race, spectators will be able to get a pilot’s perspective via cameras mounted to the drones. Click here for more information.

Now accepting registration from students
ages 14-18 who are interested in taking an introductory course to becoming a pilot. 

This free two-week course consists of Ground School and training at a flight simulator. Students must be able to attend all 6 classes over the two-week period. Registration is required.
