The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force galleries present military aviation history, boasting more than 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles on display -- many rare and one-of-a-kind -- along with thousands of historical items and powerful sensory exhibits that bring history to life and connect the Wright brothers' legacy with today's stealth and precision technology. We invite you to take an online glimpse of our galleries by clicking on a gallery name to see exhibits, including aircraft, engines, equipment and weapons of the USAF.

Exhibit Notices

  • In preparation for the upcoming Search and Rescue exhibit installation, portions of the Southeast Asia Gallery may be temporarily closed during the next several weeks as we reconfigure some of the aircraft and other artifacts to accommodate the new exhibit. Please continue to check the museum's website and social media channels for the latest updates, and thank you for your patience and understanding.
  • Access to the inside of the Douglas C-124 Globemaster II, located in the Korean War Gallery, will be closed April 3 - 6.
