This summer, the National Museum of the United States Air Force will offer free beginner-level aerospace camps for students having entering grades 5 or 6 in the 2023/24 school year. Click here for more information..
The AFA CyberCamp program is designed to excite students new to cybersecurity about STEM career opportunities and teach them important cyber defense skills through hands-on instruction and activities. Through the camp, students will learn how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats, as well as how to harden entire networks running Windows 10 and Ubuntu operating systems. The AFA CyberCamp will culminate in an exciting final team competition that simulates real cybersecurity situations faced by industry professionals and mimics AFA’s CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. This free two-week course consists of Ground School and training at a flight simulator. Students, ages 14-18, must be able to attend all 6 classes over the two-week period. Registration is required. Click here for more information.
This program is designed for students with a strong desire to work on a team interested in cybersecurity or other STEM disciplines. The team will participate in the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition which includes a series of online competition rounds and teams are given a set of virtual operating systems and tasked with finding and fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Each year the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force hosts the "American Rocketry Challenge" (ARC). What is ARC? It is the world's largest rocket contest and involves having students design, build and launch rockets to meet a specific goal which changes each year. All interested students entering grades 7-12 are encouraged to apply for this free program at the link below.

Box lunches can be arranged for delivery Monday - Friday through the 88th Force Support Squadron (FSS). Links to box lunch order forms are below.
All box lunch deliveries should be arranged directly between the requesting group and the 88th FSS. Please ensure that your group has a chaperone available to meet them for acceptance of the delivery outside the museum building.
*Please note that box lunch delivery is not available on Saturdays or Sundays.
