    Friday, August 17

    A Glimpse Behind the Scenes, 1 – 3 p.m.

    This program will provide visitors with an opportunity to engage with program volunteers on elements of the restoration process highlighted through a variety of materials and visuals. This program will take place every first, third and fifth Friday of the month and is open to all visitors. Registration is not necessary.  Interested visitors can stop by the demonstration tables located in the Space STEM Learning Node anytime between 1-3 p.m.

    Saturday, Aug. 18

    Family Day, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

    The Education Division hosts Family Days one Saturday a month. These programs are designed for children and adults of all ages and offers several hands-on opportunities for all to enjoy. Each month features a new theme such as engineering, meteorology, gravity, and space.  Click here for more information.

    Thursday, Aug. 23

    Living History Film Series, 7:30 p.m. ($)

    The Air Force Museum Foundation and the National Aviation Hall of Fame present an event titled "An Evening with an Enshrinee". Guests will enjoy a presentation by Maj. Gen. Joe Engle, USAF, Retired, followed by a short film on test flights at Edwards AFB and a Q & A session moderated by David Hartman, actor and former Good Morning America host.     Hollywood Film Series, 4 p.m. ($) - Coco
