ASBP Blood Drive

Friday, June 28 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. under the wings of the B-52 in the second building. Walk-ins are welcome or pre-register here.

ASBP will provide t-shirts and snacks following your donation. 

All blood types are accepted and there is currently a significant need for type O blood. Additionally, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has updated guidance for the Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) or “Mad Cow” disease deferral. Contact the Armed Services Blood Program for more information. 

This monthly program will also be onsite Fridays, July 11, Aug. 1, Sept. 5, Oct. 3, Nov. 7 and Dec. 8.

Discovering Flight with the NAHF Summer Camp - June through August

The National Aviation Hall of Fame is proud to present a dynamic series of week-long summer camps. Each themed camp is a unique adventure, inviting campers to explore the past, present, and future of flight through hands-on LEGO® model building, interactive STEM challenges, and inspiring stories from aviation history.

From the Wright Brothers’ first powered flight to the wonders of space exploration and modern innovations, campers will dive into fun projects that spark imagination, build critical thinking, and celebrate the pioneers who changed the skies—and beyond. Whether designing a custom aircraft, exploring the excitement of the Dayton Air Show, or planning a mission to Mars, each camp delivers a high-flying, creativity-fueled experience your child won’t forget.

Upcoming Plane Talks

Honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's Airmen at Plane Talks September 18, and November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This engaging program invites visitors to connect with veterans, active-duty personnel, and other experts stationed throughout the museum’s galleries. These subject matter experts—ranging from pilots and crew members to engineers and navigators—will share their personal experiences and insights, bringing the history of Air Force aircraft and exhibits to life.

Held several times a year, Plane Talks often coincides with significant military anniversaries, offering a deeper understanding of Air Force heritage. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear firsthand stories and explore the artifacts that shaped aviation history.

Wings of Women: Sept. 28
