Jet World Masters

DAYTON, Ohio -- More than 50 pilots from 16 different countries competed in the Jet World Masters from July 27-Aug. 6, 2011. The event featured scale models with real turbine powered jets, detailed to exactly replicate full-size aircraft. Each pilot performed 10 maneuvers typical of a full-scale plane in three or four sessions. All visitors may be screened with a metal detector upon entry. In addition all bags are subject to search and may be placed through an X-Ray machine. Weapons are not permitted including pocket knives and firearms, to include conceal carry and other dangerous weapons.
