Jet World Masters
DAYTON, Ohio -- More than 50 pilots from 16 different countries competed in the Jet World Masters from July 27-Aug. 6, 2011. The event featured scale models with real turbine powered jets, detailed to exactly replicate full-size aircraft. Each pilot performed 10 maneuvers typical of a full-scale plane in three or four sessions. The planes, which have flying speeds up to 200 mph, were judged on their accuracy by a team of six international judges. (U.S. Air Force photo by Jeff Fisher)
