Capt. Arthur B. McDaniel Exhibit
DAYTON, Ohio -- Capt. Arthur B. McDaniel's identification tags, service coat from the early 1930s when he was a major, dress sword and swagger stick on display in the Early Years Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Like most of the Pan American Flyers, McDaniel later became a general during World War II. He passed away in December 1943 at the age of 43. (U.S. Air Force photo)
