First In, Last Out: Wild Weasels vs. SAMs
DAYTON, Ohio - Artifacts in the First In, Last Out: Wild Weasels vs. SAMs exhibit: 1) King's 100 Mission patch which he obtained during his second tour in 1972. 2) King's good luck Buddha charm which he carried on his missions. 3) Copy of mission line-up card from King's end of tour mission flown on May 14, 1969 in the museum's F-105. Line-up cards gave aircrews basic information about the mission such as radio call signs and weapons load out. 4) King's carry-on map and checklist bag. 5) King's bush hat with "counters" (missions over North Vietnam)marked on the front and "non-counters" (all others) marked on the back. 6) King's party suit and flight suit.
