Consolidated B-24
This Ferrying Command B-24 displays American flag markings to indicate neutrality prior to U.S. entry into World War II in 1941. The AAF had fewer than a dozen such B-24s converted to carrying cargo and passengers, plus 40 to 50 twin-engine transports. (U.S. Air Force photo)
