Coast Guard Rescue
Three men are rescued by the Coast Guard after their sailboat capsized 300 miles from Cape Cod in 1982. A commercial airliner picked up the signal from their Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon; USAF Rescue Coordination Center provided COSPAS/SARSAT location data to aid in the rescue.
