95th Aero Squadron Aircraft Insigne
This is the aircraft insigne for the 95th Aero Squadron with which Lt. Quentin Roosevelt flew during his World War I service. This particular aircraft insigne was cut from the SPAD XIII aircraft in which Lt. Grover C. Vann was shot down on July 25, 1918; he died in the crash. (U.S. Air Force photo)
