INTEGRATION OF THE USAF
DAYTON, Ohio -- Service jacket and garrison cap worn by Major Lloyd "Scotty" Hathcock on display in the Integration of the U.S. Air Force exhibit in the World War II Gallery at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Hathcock flew with the Tuskegee Airmen and became a prisoner of war during WWII. After the war, Hathcock stayed in the service and helped desegregate the U.S. Air Force. (U.S. Air Force photo)
