Smileage Book
Keeping American troops entertained as they trained for combat was a priority for the War Department Commission on Training Camp Activities. Produced by the Globe Ticket Co., these Smileage Books were purchased by family members to send to their husbands, brothers, sons and significant others. They, in turn, could exchange them for entertainment tickets for events at any Liberty Theater or YMCA Camp Auditorium in the country. This Smileage Book was sent to Emil Klinenberg of the 128th Aero Squadron by Mrs. R. Rome. (U.S. Air Force photo)
