Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2017 features B-1B Lancer
Two U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer bomber aircraft with the 7th Bomb Wing, 9th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, currently deployed to Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, conduct a flyover during Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2017, Langkawi Island, Malaysia, March 21, 2017. LIMA is the premier aerospace and maritime exhibition in Malaysia. The biennial event helps grow military-to-military relationship between participants. The B-1 is a highly versatile, multi-mission weapon system that can rapidly deliver massive quantities of precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary. The B-1 is a key component to improving both joint service and ally interoperability. The rotation of this aircraft supports U.S. Pacific Command’s Continuous Bomber Presence, and is specifically designed to demonstrate the commitment of the U.S. to the Indo-Asia-Pacific region and regional security.
