ROAD CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION

Please note Springfield Street, the road that leads to the museum’s entrance, is undergoing construction through the beginning of September. Expect lane reductions and some delays. Please follow the signs and instructions provided by the road crews.

Special Tactics Airman set to be posthumously awarded Medal of Honor
President Donald Trump will posthumously award the Medal of Honor to the family of fallen U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. John Chapman at a ceremony on August 22 for his extraordinary heroism in March 2002 while deployed to Afghanistan. This marks the first Medal of Honor to be awarded to a Special Tactics Airman.
