Bad weather all day. This afternoon we decided to go to Paris for a few days. Arrived in Paris 12:00 P.M. had a terrible time getting a room today. President Wilson wired Germany*. What could be done if they wanted peace? [Note: Rickenbacker references President Woodrow Wilson’s response to Germany’s request for an armistice]
