DAYTON, Ohio(Aug. 2021) -- Air Force Veteran James Olshlager cleans the General Dynamics F-16A Fighting Falcon at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Olshlager received the F-16 on display in our museum the first day as a Thunderbird team member. The Thunderbird Alumni Association (TBAA) has under-taken a Thunderbird demonstration aircraft cleaning of the aircraft that are on display in military museums. The F-16 on display (S/N 81-0663) was one of the first F-16s to be received by the Thunderbirds in 1982 when they transitioned from T-38s to F-16s. (U.S. Air Force photo by Ty Greenlees)
