Thunderbird Alumni Association (TBAA)
DAYTON, Ohio(Aug. 2021) -- Air Force Veteran Mike Millard cleans the General Dynamics F-16A Fighting Falcon at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Millard was a crew chief from 1986-1989 for the F-16 #6 and #8 aircraft. The Thunderbird Alumni Association (TBAA) has under-taken a Thunderbird demonstration aircraft cleaning of the aircraft that are on display in military museums. The F-16 on display (S/N 81-0663) was one of the first F-16s to be received by the Thunderbirds in 1982 when they transitioned from T-38s to F-16s. (U.S. Air Force photo by Ty Greenlees)
