FIRST ENLISTED AIRMAN: CORPORAL EDWARD WARD

Copy of the letter assigning Ward to the Aeronautical Division of the Signal Corps(left) and Copy of Edward Ward’s Army discharge for the enlistment period during which he was assigned to the Aeronautical Division of the Signal Corps. He reenlisted the next day and served many years in the Army, retiring in 1930 as a captain in the reserve.
