6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion Post Office
In France, letters and packages accumulated in warehouses for nearly three years. Within six months, the 6888th efficiently cleared the backlog. The 6888th and French civilians sort mail at the 17th Base Post Office in Paris, November 1945.
