Fieseler Fi-156C-2 Storch
DAYTON, Ohio -- View of the Fieseler Fi-156C-2 Storch at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Designed in 1935, the Storch was widely used during World War II by German military forces for reconnaissance, liaison and aeromedical transport. The aircraft on display was donated and delivered to the museum in 1974. An 18 month restoration was completed by museum staff in August of 2025 and is on display in the WWII Gallery.
