9/11 Memorial Flag

The 9/11 Memorial Flag is on special exhibit in the Cold War Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force from July 8 through August 2026. The 22-foot by 32-foot handmade memorial honors those killed in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks through 2,983 miniature American flags, 86 national flags and emblems representing rescue, recovery and emergency-response organizations.
