BUILDING AN AFGHAN AIR FORCE: AIR ADVISOR MEMORIAL WALL

Patch worn by NATO Air Training Command (NATC-A) Airmen in Afghanistan, 2010-2015. The traditional propeller-and-wings training symbol features the Afghan Air Force emblem in the center. The background includes the NATO symbol and Afghanistan’s central plains and Hindu Kush mountains. Before NATC-A, the mission was called Combined Air Power Transition Force, or CAPTF.
