Canine Warriors Exhibit at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force

DAYTON, Ohio -- DAYTON, Ohio -- A wooden dog sculpture of former USAF military working dog Robson L096, was revealed on Nov. 7, 2019 by artist James Mellick at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This sculpture titled "Waiting to Go", depicts Robson waiting for his handler, USAF TSgt. David Simpson. TSgt. Simpson took his own life in 2017 after suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder from his time in combat. (U.S. Air Force photo by Ken LaRock)
