DAYTON, Ohio -- Third annual event invites visitors of all ages to enjoy free activities, live music, and community engagement inside the museum’s galleries.
DAYTON, Ohio – The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will welcome families to its third annual Bunny Trail event on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This indoor event is free and open to the public, and will be held rain or shine.
Designed as a family-friendly spring celebration, Bunny Trail offers visitors a chance to explore the museum’s galleries while collecting candy and interacting with local community organizations. Guests are encouraged to bring their own baskets as they visit themed stations hosted by more than a dozen community partners, each offering treats and sharing their organization’s mission with attendees.
In addition to the candy trail, free activities throughout the event will include:
- Balloon twisting
- A hands-on coloring station
- Live pop-up concerts by the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m.
- A photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny
- A community LEGO® build project hosted by Brixilated inside the National Aviation Hall of Fame’s Innovation Lab (federal endorsement not implied.)
Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win one of several prizes, including a giant chocolate bunny, as well as a large and medium gift basket filled with springtime surprises.
Additional activities, including face painting and other enhanced experiences, will be available for a fee through the Air Force Museum Foundation.
