The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will host a special Meet and Greet with the American Rosie The Riveter Association (ARRA) on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. This event is open to the public and offers a rare opportunity to engage with the Original Rosies — the women who played a vital role during World War II by supporting the war effort on the Home Front.

The event will be located by the historic Boeing B-17F Memphis Belle in the World War II Gallery, offering attendees a chance to meet these extraordinary women in a setting that commemorates the very conflict they helped support. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from the Rosies, learn about their contributions to the war effort, and engage with these incredible women. This unique event allows attendees to ask questions and immerse themselves in the stories of these remarkable women.

The American Rosie The Riveter Association is dedicated to preserving the stories of the women who worked in factories, shipyards, and other critical industries to support the nation during World War II. Their work was essential to the success of the war and helped shape the future of American industry and the role of women in the workforce.

Bette Kenward, VP of Expansion at ARRA, shared, “Rosies were not just workers; they were daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, and grandmothers. Many had family members who served and sacrificed, and they dedicated themselves to their tasks with unwavering resolve, knowing that our troops depended on their contributions.”

The Meet and Greet is part of the American Rosie The Riveter Association's efforts to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and celebrate the enduring legacy of these women’s contributions.
