National Museum of the Air Force to Reopen Friday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will reopen to the public on Friday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m., following the conclusion of the federal government shutdown. The Museum will resume its regular business hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. All Museum galleries and exhibits, including the outdoor Memorial Park and Air Park, will be open to the public. The Valkyrie Café is expected to resume operations Saturday, Nov. 15. Please watch the Museum's website, www.nationalmuseum.af.mil, for more information and upcoming events.

The Air Force Museum Foundation will resume guest amenities, including the Museum Store, Museum Theatre, Photogenics, and Simulators during the Museum’s regular operating hours. The Launchpad Shop ‘n Snack, located in the Missile Gallery, will resume operations with limited snacks and beverage options. The National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF), located on the Museum campus, will also resume operations on Friday, Nov. 14. Visitors should check the NAHF website, www.nationalaviation.org, for any specific details regarding their schedule.

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) Route X6 (express service) will resume service to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force starting tomorrow. For more information on schedules and other routes, please visit the RTA website at www.iriderta.org.
