The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force™ will host Sounds of the Season, a pair of free holiday concerts performed by the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 16–17, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. both evenings.

These family-friendly performances will feature a selection of seasonal favorites presented by one of the Air Force’s premier musical ensembles. A special guest appearance by Santa Claus will add to the festive atmosphere. Photos with Santa will be available for an additional fee through Photogenics, an independent, third-party vendor. References to third-party services do not imply endorsement by the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force or the Department of the Air Force.

Admission is free, but tickets are required and still available for both nights. Reservations are limited and available through the Museum’s event page at www.nationalmuseum.af.mil.

The concerts will take place at Center Stage in Building 2 of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton. Seating is general admission.

The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, performs more than 250 events annually in support of Air Force and Department of Defense missions. Since its founding in 1942, the band has performed for presidents, military leaders, and audiences across the nation and around the world.

In addition to the concerts, visitors can continue to enjoy Holidays in the Hangars, the Museum’s seasonal display of decorated trees located throughout the galleries. Running through Dec. 31, the display features creatively decorated trees by local community organizations, offering a festive holiday backdrop set among historic aircraft and exhibits.
