The world's largest military aviation museum now offers free wireless Internet to its visitors.

Provided by the Air Force Museum Foundation, WiFi will be available to National Museum of the U.S. Air Force visitors free of charge throughout all galleries in the main museum complex, as well as the lobby and café.

The museum already has some Web-based features available and will add more as time and resources allow. For example, visitors can download the free Cockpit360 app, giving them the chance to explore 360-degree views of the interiors of approximately 30 museum aircraft. Also available are several self-guided tour podcasts and QR codes with additional information about some museum exhibits.

Visitors are encouraged to use the WiFi network to check-in on social media networks and share photos and experiences from their visit.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, is the world's largest military aviation museum. With free admission and parking, the museum features more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles and thousands of artifacts amid more than 17 acres of indoor exhibit space. Each year about one million visitors from around the world come to the museum. For more information, visit www.nationalmuseum.af.mil.

The Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc. was established in 1960 as a philanthropic, nonprofit organization to assist the Air Force in the development and expansion of the facilities of the National Museum of the United States Air Force and to undertake and advance programs and activities supporting the museum.
