The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight’s “Wright Brass” and Kettering Children's Cappella Choir will celebrate the holidays with a variety of new and classic holiday favorites on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
Due to the popularity of this free concert, tickets are required and will be available for public distribution beginning Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. Requests made before this time will not be accepted.
Tickets may be obtained one of three ways. Beginning Nov. 2, requests can be made in person at the museum Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Those who cannot make it in person may request tickets by submitting and online form at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2016holidayconcert or by calling (937) 255-5924.
Those requesting tickets must provide their name, phone number, mailing address, and the number of tickets they would like mailed to them. The limit is four tickets per person, and they will be mailed beginning November 14.
Conducted by Dr. James Tipps, the Cappella Choir is a college preparatory soprano, alto, tenor, bass (SATB) choir, and the select secondary school component of the Kettering Children's Choirs. The Capella Choir has performed throughout the world including in Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, and South Africa.
The Kettering Children's Choir is a choral organization whose mission is to educate the talented young singers of the Miami Valley and build an appreciation for musical excellence. Their vision is to be known throughout Ohio as a premier vocal ensemble and choral school, with structured musical training, high quality standards of artistic performance and music appreciation.
Wright Brass consists of a standard brass quintet with an added percussionist. The group performs for military ceremonies and local concerts, sporting events and tours throughout Ohio, and have performed at a number of international music symposiums.
