Museum LocationThe entrance to the National Museum of the United States Air Force is on Springfield Street at historic Wright Field (Gate 28B), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, six miles northeast of Dayton, Ohio.

From the South:
Visitors traveling from the south on I-75 should exit at I-675 North (exit 43). Travel to Exit 15 (Col. Glenn Hwy). As you exit, stay in the extreme right-hand lane. At the end of the exit, turn right at the traffic light (Col. Glenn Hwy). Travel to the fourth traffic light (Harshman Road/Wright Brothers Parkway) and turn right. Exit at Springfield Pike; turn right at the end of the exit ramp. The entrance to the museum is on the right.

From the North:
Those coming from the north on I-75 should exit at I-70 East (exit 61). Travel to I-675 South (exit 44A). Travel to Exit 15 (Col. Glenn Hwy). As you exit, stay in the right-hand lane. At the end of the exit, turn right at the traffic light (Col. Glenn Hwy). Travel to the fourth traffic light (Harshman Road/Wright Brothers Parkway) and turn right. Exit at Springfield Pike; turn right at the end of the exit ramp. The entrance to the museum is on the right.

From the East:

Those traveling on U.S. 35 (east or west) should exit on I-675 North. Travel to Exit 15 (Col. Glenn Hwy). As you exit, stay in the extreme right-hand lane. At the end of the exit, turn right at the traffic light (Col. Glenn Hwy). Travel to the fourth traffic light (Harshman Road/Wright Brothers Parkway) and turn right. Exit at Springfield Pike; turn right at the end of the exit ramp. The entrance to the museum is on the right.

Parking at the Museum

Free public parking is available on site. The museum has four electric vehicle charging stations available in the visitor parking lot. Parking is also available for oversized vehicles, such as motorhomes and school buses.

Area Airports

Unfortunately, it is not possible to fly a private aircraft to the museum.

Dayton International and Xenia/Greene County are the two closest public airports to the museum. Their websites should have information about shuttles or other ground transportation.

Public Transportation
