Thank you for your interest in 2025 summer Modified Aerospace Camps. All camp slots are now FULL.
Continue to follow us here and on social media for next year's camp date announcements, expected to be released in the spring 2026.
Join us for a specially designed Modified Aerospace Camp, created for students age 10+ with physical or cognitive disabilities who may need a shorter, more accessible camp experience. This exciting program will take place at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM, offering hands-on learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
Campers will explore the principles of rocketry through a fun and interactive class on Newton’s Laws of Motion. They’ll then have the opportunity to build their own Astra III model rocket and take a guided tour of the Space and Missile galleries, where they can see real rockets, satellites, and historic spacecraft up close! Weather permitting, the adventure will conclude with an outdoor rocket launch on the museum’s front lawn, where students can see their creations soar into the sky.
Activities Include:
✅ Interactive lesson on rocketry and Newton’s Laws
✅ Hands-on model rocket building
✅ Guided tour of the Space & Missile galleries
✅ Outdoor model rocket launch (weather permitting)
Parents are welcome to stay and participate alongside their child to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. This modified camp is designed to inspire a love of aerospace while providing an inclusive and adaptive approach to learning.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of space and flight in a way that’s accessible to all!
