DAYTON, Ohio -- Visitors who work up an appetite by participating in all of the free activities during the World War I Dawn Patrol Rendezvous, Sept. 27-28, won't have to travel very far to find a variety of meal options to enjoy.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, in partnership with The Exchange, is providing food trucks on the grounds of the event from 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. each day.

On Saturday, food trucks will be available from El Meson, Hunger Paynes, and Lilia's Outside Café. El Meson and Lilia's Outside Café will also return on Sunday. (Federal endorsement not implied.) Below is a look at each menu:

· El Meson Xpress Foodtruck will feature tacos (fish, pork or chicken); a Cuban sandwich and Fries; beef empanadas; Peruvian chicken fried rice; fries; soft drinks and bottled water. Cash and credit cards (except Discover) will be accepted.

· Hunger Paynes will offer five different types of croquettes - a ball of chopped meat, vegetables and/or cheese, coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried; pretzel bites; pretzel s'mores; chips; soda and bottled water. Cash and all major credit/debit cards will be accepted.

· Lilia's Outside Café will serve pulled pork bar-b-que, mesquite smoked fajita chicken or steakburger sliders; an Italian sausage sandwich; hot dogs; chili dogs; chili soup; chicken fajita salad; taco salad; grilled chicken salad; fries; cole slaw; assorted sodas and bottled water. Cash and all major credit cards will be accepted.

Visitors may reach the event site by coming through the "Spinning Road Gate," located at the intersection of Airway and Spinning Roads (Joe Greene Way), or driving through the main museum gate on Springfield Street and following the signs that lead to the event area. Gates will be open each day from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.                                                                  

The 2014 WWI Dawn Patrol Rendezvous will be the ninth event offered by the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and the Great War Aeroplanes Association. The event features full-scale and 7/8-scale WWI aircraft, radio-controlled models, era automobiles, period re-enactors, educational activities and a collector's show.
