World War I Dawn Patrol Rendezvous

Oct. 1-2, 2016

Commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I in Europe as one of the nation's premier historical aviation events brings the excitement and adrenaline of early air power to Ohio. The World War I Dawn Patrol Rendezvous features vintage original and reproduction WWI aircraft, radio-controlled models, era automobiles, period re-enactors, educational activities and a collector's show. This flying event is offered by the museum and the Great War Aeroplanes Association. FREE admission and parking.

Media Registration

Media who are planning on covering the WWI Dawn Patrol Rendezvous should register by Sept. 29 by clicking here. All media must have credentials from a news organization.

 

 

Participant Registration

If you are planning to participate in this event (pilot, RC pilot, reenactor, antique auto, vendor or Aces Over Wright Field), please contact the Special Events Division to request a registration packet.

WWI Centenary

World War I Centenary2014-2018 commemorates the centennial of the First World War. Aug. 4, 2014 marks the beginning of the centenary, which concludes on Nov. 11, 2018. Click here for information and online resources in commemoration of the Great War.
