 Cryptology Code Breakers
Students will learn about the history of code making and breaking from ancient Egypt to the present day uses for codes. After obtaining content, students will work together to create and break codes collectively. Paper "codes" will be available online.

Students will learn basic concepts and causes of the first world war, as well as the geographic location of some of the more than thirty countries involved in this war.

Students will learn basic research skills as they examine and analyze primary sources in an effort to determine the "mystery" person or group.

The Holocaust: Prejudice and Memory The Holocaust: Prejudice and Memory
Museum Only -- Students will tour the Holocaust exhibit and see photographs and artifacts and hear the memories of local people who personally experienced some aspect of the Holocaust. This program stresses the importance of tolerance. It is limited to groups no larger than 80 students and is available on Tuesday or Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.

 Mission Planning Operation Mission Planning: World War II
Students will use map reading and analytical skills to plan their own mission based on aircraft and courses from WWII. Upon completion, students will be provided the historic context from which their preselected flight evolved. Class will conclude with a 30-minute flight simulation session.

Grade Level: 7- 12
Duration: 50 minutes (course chartering and history content only) or 1.5 hours (with flight simulator component)

Physics of Flight Physics of Flight
Explores more advanced aerodynamic principles including Newton's Laws, the Bernoulli Principle and the Coanda Effect.
